Job Summary:
Crane Merchandising Systems is seeking an experienced Data & Application Developer with an emphasis on Microsoft SQL Server technology. Candidate will be part of a data warehouse project involving global partnership and multiple source ERP and other systems. Additionally, the candidate would provide web and application support as needed for a broad range of technologies.
Essential Functions:
+ Creating and querying database schemas in RDBMS such as SQL Server
+ Developing and troubleshooting ETL processes using SSIS
+ Completing data analysis and building report objects using SSRS and PowerBI
+ Utilizing task scheduling software such as VisualCron to create scheduled processes.
+ Provide support and maintenance to various applications including interacting with both internal and external customers
+ Partner with other developers and SME?s to complete system integrations
+ Participates in planning and implementation of projects
+ Create and maintain system and support documentation
+ Track support requests and project tasks using management software
+ Follow IT guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
+ 3+ years experience with T-SQL and Microsoft Database Administration
+ 2+ years experience with SSIS or other ETL toolset
+ 2+ years experience with SSRS, PowerBI, or other data analysis
+ Familiarity with web application programming such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET, PHP, Java, or Ruby
+ Understanding of source control tools such as TFS, GIT, or SVN
+ Ability to learn new technologies and languages
+ < >bility to conduct research into issues and products as required
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
Beneficial Skills:
+ Experience with SSAS and/or PowerBI
+ Experience with C# and Powershell
+ History a Scrum or other

Working Conditions:
+ Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, sleeves, heel straps, and bump caps.
+ Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
+ Requires lifting 35 lbs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
