One of its segments, Crane Merchandising Systems, designs and manufactures a diverse, yet integrated portfolio of automatic merchandising equipment across multiple verticals, including hot and cold beverage, snack, and food. It also offers other vending solutions including cashless processing, payment devices, vending management software and wireless communication technology.

Primary Job Function:
The Next Generation Retail Intern will develop a market plan for a break-through Next Generation Unattended Retail solution. This is the complete planning work to help determine and make the product launch successful. This includes market analysis, competitive assessment, value proposition, and development of a strategy to support clear differentiation and win with key customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in strategy deployment with a dynamic, fast paced team.
Responsibilities and Duties
? Data research via primary and secondary source research.
? Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to discover industry, company, and customer trends.
? Development of analytic models to support the business development process.
? Creating in-depth client reports and polished deliverables.
? Financial modeling.
? Effectively communicating research results to support appropriate strategic recommendations.
Qualifications and Required Skills
+ First year completion towards a Master?s Degree in Business Administration
+ 3+ years? professional work experience
+ Experience with Excel modeling inclusive of financial models commensurate with 1styear finance and decision analytics
+ Engineering education and experience (mechanical, electrical, software) is valued.
+ Product management experience is valued.
+ Experience in consulting or investment banking in a business analyst role is valued.
+ Experience reading and analyzing 10K?s and annual reports is valued.

Working Conditions
+ Standard office environment
+ May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes during visits to manufacturing environment
+ Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
+ Work requires using a computer for possibly up to 8 hours a day

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
