SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director of Marketing Communications is responsible for planning, developing, evaluating and implementing a marketing communication plan that meets the strategic MARCOM needs of the Vending business. This mandate will include coordinating global MARCOM efforts, public relations, communications, promotions, advertising, sales aids, literature services and product marketing collateral. This role will work closely with Product Managers, the Senior Leadership Team, and other key internal staff to develop and deliver on MARCOM needs. The role will also be responsible for assessing the marketing communication needs of the business, conducting research to understand best approaches and preparing and executing on action plans in order to deliver, manage implementation and take responsibility for the outcome.
Core Responsibilities / Functions:
+ Develop and implement all marketing communication initiatives (both internal and external) across the vending business and determine their effectiveness in driving sales growth.
+ Provide leadership and direction to the senior leadership team, sales staff and product managers on MARCOM industry best practices and overall company and product messaging.Promote an environment conducive to creativity and that encourages innovation and idea generation.
+ Partner closely with the senior leadership team and product managers to develop strategic communication strategies for new product launches and brand marketing initiatives aligned with the Vending business?s objectives.Participate as a key member of the team when launching new products and own the marketing communication requirements in this process.
+ Help to facilitate (a) common marketing strategies and processes across the organization with all products; and (b) the company?s strategic marketing plans.
+ Develop and implement the marketing communications program for all external stakeholders in Vending?including Operators, Bottlers, End Locations, and Industry Associations & Organizations; including, but not limited to, literature, demos, training, advertising, e-commerce, web-site, trades-shows, etc. to drive brand and company awareness.
+ Prepare annual MARCOM plans that include our company and product messaging, our advertising/social media strategy, web-site strategy, communication strategy for all industry stakeholders, and internal employee communication strategy.
+ Develop recommendations and implement sales tools (such as promotions, sales aids, brochures, presentations, etc.) to improve the effectiveness of the customer experience.
+ Create annual marketing campaign calendar, coordinate promotional activities and follow up on tactical implementation.
+ Manage, write and update the website content.
+ Maintain relationships with key industry editors
+ Create marketing briefs and direct the activities of advertising agencies and MARCOM consultants.
+ Develop and manage the marketing budget.
+ Manage the files and archiving the various marketing communication pieces on the company?s shared server (SharePoint, SFDC)
Education / Skills Required:
+ The Director, Marketing Communications is a self-starter, self-disciplined and self-managing contributor who is results-oriented. They will have excellent writing skills, excellent communication skills, excellent applicable software skills as well as a proven track record in creating and implementing successful marketing communication plans and collateral.
+ Degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
+ 3-5 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in achieving results.
+ Experience in manufacturing MARCOM an asset.
+ Experience in professional writing in traditional media and online essential.
+ Excellent oral and written communications skills.
+ Familiarity with online media and knowledge of Internet marketing trends.
+ Well organized, detail-oriented.
+ Understanding of media planning and public relations.
+ Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Proficiency in MARCOM related software applications for both analysis and graphical artistic creation of MARCOM collateral.
+ Graphic design background/experience is preferred, but not required.
+ Some proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite preferred, specifically PhotoShop, Illustrator and InDesign.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
