Waste Water Operator Class C or D

Position: Washer/ Waste Water Technician

The Washer Technician is an employee who is required to maintain the Paint Washer/ Waste Water System in connection with the Paint Shop. Sequences of the job operation necessary to follow the log books and document changes made (or not made to the chemicals), walk the equipment looking at gauges, fluid levels and ensure washer chemicals are in stock. Daily/Weekly emptying, cleaning and refilling all stages of the equipment. This position will be responsible for following standard work, and using the visual management tools at their disposal to perform production for multiple cells as required. Responsible for daily Customer Metrics(SQDC) Recordable Incidents, OOB & FPY Quality, OTD to Customer & Schedule, UPPH, 5S, Adherence to Standard Work, and MRS basics. Responsible for adhering to standard work, completing performance board when outside standard work and being a team player. Maintaining work station to 5S guidelines and following all plant and safety rules, driving daily customer metrics by recommending ideas to the group for root cause solutions, participating in morning huddles, following basic MRS guidelines, working in a safe manner, driving daily customer metrics via participating in groups to resolve problems driving metrics downward. Must be capable of working in a team environment, and must be flexible in moving to perform different work tasks. Make recommendations for continuous improvement to Group Leader/Production Supervisor/VSM. Must be able to work overtime hours as business needs necessitate.
Monitor and Control Specification of washer system by:
Perform work of a highly repetitive nature (i.e. ?chemical titration adjusting, accurate chemical reading, inspecting, daily washer PM's, and removal of scrap) and produce products.
Titration according to verbal or written instructions and by using the necessary tools, i.e. PH Meters, Pressure Gauges, Titration Meter, Water Control Levels Valves, Drain Valves, Beakers and Conductivity Meter.
Monitor and maintain proper levels of the chemical system.
Push 55 gallon drums around (on Wheels) and refill tanks.
Handle parts that weigh up to 35lbs.
Education / Skills Required:
A high school diploma or GED is required.Equivalent years of work experience will be considered in lieu of education requirement.
Basic reading skills.
Basic math skills.
Must be able to follow written and verbal directions (Titration Test).
Must be able to perform Simple Math Equations
Detail oriented (Final Test).
Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, and lift 35 pounds.
Some mechanical abilities may be required, as well as using special or standard hand tools.
All candidates must be able to apply basic safety, quality and work standards.
May be required to perform simple math functions and read and understand basic measurements.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
