Position: Supervisor
Reports To: Value Stream Manager
Department: Operations
Position Summary:
The Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the activities of a production and for maintaining Safety, Quality and Production requirements on a daily basis.
+ Safety ? Promotes, creates and ensures that a safe work environment is assured and maintained. Actively participates in programs such as TOPS, Safety Committees, 5S programs, SOP implementation. Uses and assures that all employees are using the required PPE. Drives safety through the organization to ensure that all staff are following the proper safety procedures. Questions current procedures to assure we are striving for perfection.
+ Crane Business System ? Collect and analyze data to determine primary opportunities to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and 5S. Develop and implement improvements for those opportunities. Keep records of all improvements including date performed, description, who was involved and the impact on the operation. Participate and lead kaizen events to improve overall Value Stream. Become a Tool Champion in Standard Work within one year.
+ Leadership Skills ? Creates and shares a vision and strategy for the organization, department or team. Drives a culture that supports Crane?s values. Sets and regularly communicates expectations and ensures goals are aligned with Crane?s strategic initiatives. Measures team against goals and holds team and self-accountable for results. Education:
+ Associate?s Degree in related area, required. Bachelor?s degree, preferred. Military experience will be considered.
Skills:
+ Minimum three years of experience in related field.
+ CBS Tool Champion in Standard Work for Flow or Lean Manufacturing background.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, to include presentation skills.
+ Shadow Value Stream Manager ? 40 hours (for internal candidates)
+ OSHA 30 required within first 90 days.
+ Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
The following qualifications are in addition to the above:
Fabrication Supervisors
+ Three years of fabrication experience including shearing, punching, forming spot welding, and MIG welding preferred.
Paint Supervisor
+ Three years of powder paint experience preferred.

+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, hear, and sit.The employee is occasionally required to bend, stoop, push, pull, feel and grasp with hands and arms.
+ Employee must exert up to 35 pounds of force occasionally and/or a light amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
+ Employee must be able to stand for long periods.
+ Employee must be able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include concentrated attention, close vision, far vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to bring object into sharp focus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
